The Epica Awards has announced its shortlist. As agencies only enter their very best work, reaching the shortlist among so many potential winners is a major achievement. Star performers at this stage are Canada, France, Germany.
Over the past few days, a unique jury of editors and journalists from around the world has watched and appraised the work, delivering valuable PR exposure to the entrants. With around 200 jurors actively voting, it was one of the largest juries in Epica’s history.
Canada also had the highest number of entries – 296, followed by Germany (202) and France (138), The US (126) and the UK (125). The networks with the most entries were Publicis, McCann Worldgroup, Dentsu, VMLY&R and Wunderman Thompson.
Australia’s finalists are:
- cummins&partners: Alfa Romeo AI for Stellantis in Creative Use of AI
- Dentsu Creative Mood Tea (3 parts) for Mood Tea in Humour
These finalists go through to the next round of the jury, which takes place online from November 22 to December 1. An in-person Grand Prix jury session will take place in Brussels. Gold and Grand Prix winners will be screened during a special online ceremony on December 7. Silver and Bronze winners will be published on the Epica Awards website the next day, December 8.
Since 1987, the Epica Awards jury has been exclusively composed of editors and senior reporters from the world’s leading titles covering creativity and communications. They are supported by journalists from specialist fields such as post-production, design, tech, automotive and fashion. A full list of jury members can be seen at www.epica-awards.com.
