There’s absolutely nothing doing wrong with more of the same in a campaign when it’s still great to watch and still delivers the brand’s promise. When your campaign is as good as The Martin Agency’s It’s Not Surprising for Geico, sticking to it can only build impact.
The Martin Agency launched It’s Not Surprising in July 2016 and has released more than a dozen commercials since.
They all make you laugh. They all make you watch. And they all make you pay attention to the bit at the end that matters to Geico – it’s not surprising how much money real customers saved by switching to the insurer.
The latest spot’s surprise comes from a triangle player in an orchestra. He breaks free of the formality of a concert recital to do an impromptu rock star solo.
The TVC aired during the Emmys and the online version ends with an invitation to watch more from Geico’s It’s Not Surprising collection by subscribing to Geico’s YouTube channel. (When you’ve got it, use it.)
