There is nothing like an inconvenient truth coming from your child at the most uncomfortable moment possible. The Monkeys “out of the mouths of babes” story is for UBank. It’s also a story “just right” for young parents. This happens to be a prime target market for the bank.
The Dollhouse is the story of a little girl re-enacting one of her parent’s attempts to talk to the bank about a home loan. In the middle of a dinner party. Sadly, she copies what she has heard exactly. The parent’s attempt didn’t go well.
Of course, the aim is to highlight UBank’s easier, less complicated, home loan application process – UhomeLoan Tracker. The online tracker allows customers to follow the progress of their application in real-time, so they don’t need to keep trying to phone for a status update..
The Monkeys creative director, Scott Dettrick, explained “UBank is about simplifying banking in order to improve people’s lives. Out of the mouths of babes, our latest campaign highlights just how simple the UHomeLoan process is compared to more antiquated banking experiences.”
UBank chief marketing officer, Jo Kelly, added, “While our new campaign comes complete with a healthy dose of humour, it also shows how UBank is taking the pain out of the process, so customers can get just the home loan they need without the hassle.”
