Most Aussies know bananas “make your body sing”. It is one of the longest running and successful marketing campaigns in Australian advertising history. The campaign, that began in 1994 with a bright and bubbly music track, that was refreshed and relaunched in 2001, 2008, 2009, 2015, 2018 and 2021.
In 2021, the platform became Whatever Your Thing, Make Your Body Sing. Thinkerbell has turned that call to action into a brilliantly yellow OOH campaign. The new work taps into the 2025 hunger for energy boosts and is running Australia-wide, across retail, outdoor, online and social – turning supermarket aisles and digital feeds a whole lot yellower.

The refreshed brand look and feel highlights the natural connection between bananas and physical energy. The creative has a clever visual simile linking a banana with a swimmer, footy player, and yoga enthusiast. Positioning Australian Bananas as the ultimate fuel for an active lifestyle reinforces Australian Bananas’ famous promise to make your body sing.

Since January, the bold and vibrant yellow has been dialled up to grab attention in-store, stop thumbs mid-scroll, and reinforce the joy and energy of Australian Bananas.
