Thinkerbell thinks outside the square (again) for Vegemite and this time that thinking has landed on Vegemite labels. Vegemite has released a limited-edition range with Mitey Meals labels, that encourage Australians to get creative with Vegemite in cooking, underlining how Vegemite can enhance favourite family meals
The labels bear the names Nachos, Bolognese, Pizza, Barty Parmy, Stir Fry and Pho where Vegemite used to be and a QR code leads to a recipe that corresponds to the label.
“While enjoying Vegemite on toast remains a fan favourite, cooking with Vegemite is on the rise,” explained Jess Hoare, marketing manager – spreads, Bega Foods. “Vegemite continues to earn its place in meals across the country, and we couldn’t be happier to see this.”
The six Mitey Meals labels that have been chosen are a nod to some of the ways that the nation’s beloved Vegemite is enjoyed most. The Mitey Meals labels appear on Vegemite’s 150g, 380g and 560g jars, as well as the 200g and 350g squeezy bottles.
