Another UK chain, another continuation of a Christmas story. Sainsbury’s Christmas commercial continues its BFG adventures. Argos’ Connie and Trevor continue to stage (gangster-like) interventions for those who don’t yet know that There is More to Argos.
This year, Simon Bird (aka, The Inbetweeners’ Will McKenzie) is on the naughty list. He thinks that Argos is only for toys and Argos brand mascots, Connie and Trevor (aka, the ultimate interventionists), are going to teach him a lesson.

In the 2025 Argos Christmas commercial by T&P, Bird is “kidnapped” and taken to a warehouse full of potential gifts, that includes blenders, hair-styling tools and coffee machines.
The story continues the There is more to Argos theme that began in 2023 and the Connie & Trevor interventionalist idea that kicked off in September, when Connie and Trevor confronted a customer who’d dared to claim Argos was “only good for toys” in a social post.
Connie and Trevor also starred in last year’s Christmas commercial, but in a vastly different role:
