New York Festivals AME Awards has announced the shortlist for its 2025 international advertising & effectiveness competition.
The 100+ AME Grand Jury of strategic industry executives, branding experts, and creative thought leaders looked for daring, creative, and results-driven work from entries submitted by six continents.
“2025’s AME Awards Shortlist showcases outstanding work from every corner of the globe, reflecting a powerful mix of exciting creative work, strategic thinking, and measurable impact,” stated Gayle Seminara Mandel, VP, executive director of the AME Awards. “This year’s campaigns solve complex marketing challenges, inspire change, and set new standards for effectiveness worldwide. All of us at AME are proud to celebrate the bold ideas and results-driven excellence that define this year’s shortlisted entries.”
Impressive work that combined innovation, strategic thinking, and effectiveness advanced to the trophy round – campaigns that solved complex marketing challenges and delivered impactful results.
The 2025 AME Awards attracted a dynamic range of entries from agencies across the globe – from Morocco to Hong Kong, Spain to Romania, the UK to the USA, and Indonesia to Brazil and Argentina. The 2025 competition drew an exceptional range of entries from agencies worldwide.
VML’s global agencies led the way in 2025 with trailblazing work that engaged consumers, elevated brands, and earned 32 shortlisted entries. Creative teams from Argentina, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Indonesia, Morocco, Spain, the United Kingdom, and the US also had their results-driven campaigns advance to the next round. North American agencies moving on to the trophy round include VML, Zulu Alpha Kilo, Havas New York, McKinney, Eversana Intouch, and DeVito/Verdi. Leading agencies, including Ogilvy UK, VCCP UK, DDB Group Hong Kong, and Akcelo Australia, also made the final round.
Brands in the trophy round include DOVE, Volkswagen Canada, OREO, McDonald’s Hong Kong, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, Virgin Media O2, SC Johnson, Fanta, Silk, New York-Presbyterian, NHS Blood & Transplant, Kraft Heinz UK, Huggies Canada, and Mondelez International, plus other game-changers across industries and regions.

All entries submitted into the 2025 AME Awards were evaluated based on 4 criteria and weighted according to importance: Results/Effectiveness – 30%, idea – 25%, Execution – 25%, and Challenge/Strategy/Objective – 20%.
