It has not been the most inspiring year for entrepreneurs. But according to a July study by Russian bank, Tochka, business seems to be recovering in its home country. In June, SME revenues returned to pre-quarantine levels, the registration of seasonal businesses increased 2.4 times compared to May, and rental payments in the worst-affected industries increased by 51%. Tochka, the “bank for entrepreneurs”, wants to stimulate that renewal and show that it supports entrepreneurs’ ambitions.
The bank’s advertising created by agency, Voskhod, has always walked on the wild side. Tochka is a bank that knows how to stand out and understands the spirit of its client base, but who could have imagined that its ads would get even wilder?
This time Tochka Bank and Voskhod have launched a perfume, created by perfumer, Christophe Laudamiel, called Spirit of Entrepreneurship to lift the spirits of entrepreneurs and motivate their actions.
The new branded perfume is meant to symbolise the return of business to its normal pace, a “symbol of resilience and everyday heroism of the brave and determined”. Tochka is gifting it, together with free banking, to all entrepreneurs who open an account in the bank in August. The unisex fragrance is based on ginger, pink pepper, cucumber, rhubarb, saffron, cedar, patchouli, oud and sandalwood.
The commercial stars, popular Russian actor, Anton Lapenko, who plays all the characters. Lapenko’s fame is built on his retro-styled comic sketches, where he is also the only performer of all parts.
This walk on the wild side is not a one-off for Voskhod and Tochka:
