Apparently, it’s not only Bondi Beach lovers who are really awful at obeying social distancing rules. In the UK, three creatives, Nathalie Gordon, Amy Fasey and Jacob Hellström from agency, Pablo, have become so frustrated with Brits that they launched a personal campaign.
The posters are bold, simple, neon coloured and to the point. You can’t not notice them. Surely, you can’t ignore them. They were intended to be a guerrilla campaign and be printed. The trio wwas going to post them all over London but the lockdown intervened and they placed them online instead. Now their messages are spreading internationally. They have also been give free poster sites across London and Sheffield.
“We were all horrified this weekend, to see how Britain were just carrying on like a pandemic wasn’t spreading across the UK. We couldn’t get our heads around why they were doing it and disregarding all the advice. To us it was so simple – it’s the right thing to do and the easiest way to be a hero,” stated Nathalie Gordon.
“They are out in the wild and hopefully making people stay the fuck inside. The generosity of strangers to get positive messages out in the wild is brilliant,” Gordon commented. “And so many people are asking, ‘why aren’t the government doing this?’”
