Wherefrom (the world’s first sustainability scoring index) has an Earth Day message. It’s stop the green credentials BS and do something positive for the planet. The campaign, a 3.30 minute karaoke video, calls out brands that pump out meaningless slogans, such as investing in tomorrow, securing tomorrow, the planet’s favourite shop, green is our nature…etc.
And it does so by copywriting those meaningless slogans in a very clever ruse and threatening legal action against any brand that uses them in the future. Nike, Amazon, H&M, BP and Shell, look out.

The song is fun. The boldness of it is even more fun. The message is serious. According to the European Commission, 42% of brands are guilty of over-exaggerating their green credentials.

The campaign website intends to make brands (really) clean.
