Juan Sevilla and Paddy Treacy have been promoted from group creative directors to chief creative officers at Wieden+Kennedy Amsterdam. Sevilla moves to The Netherlands office from Wieden+Kennedy London. Treacy moves from Wieden+Kennedy New York. The pair will take over from Susan Hoffman, who is moving back into a role in Wieden+Kennedy’s global leadership team.
Sevilla’s career path progressed from senior art director at Ogilvy Madrd to creative director at Leo Burnett and Lola in Spain. He joined Wieden+Kennedy in February 2016. Sevilla’s work includes campaigns for Cornetto Ice Cream Global, Mattel Europe, Coca-Cola, Sainsbury’s, Honda, Playstation, Louis Vuitton, Nike, Heinz.
Treacy began his career at Rothco and DDFH&B/JWT in Dublin, followed by thirteen years at Wieden+Kennedy London on brands including Nike, TK Maxx and Bud Light. He moved to Wieden+Kennedy New York where he has been creative lead on the agency’s McDonald’s work.
“Between Juan and Paddy, they’ve spent more than 25 years at Wieden+Kennedy, worked across Ireland, Spain, England, the United States and the Netherlands and touched pretty much every kind of business you can think of in the process,” stated Wieden+Kennedy global CCO, Karl Lieberman.
The Amsterdam office was founded in 1992 as Wieden+Kennedy’s first European office.
