McDonald’s Canada is adding some glam (and music cred) to its fast food formula with help from Shania Twain (who did once work at a McDonald’s in Toronto) and directing collective, Kinopravda. It’s not quite the same glam as Beyoncé’s arse in sequinned Levi’s, but Shania in a sparkly cowboy hat has a more natural attachment to the current country music trend perhaps.
The campaign by Wieden+Kennedy New York features new menu additions, pimped up fries and a strawberry pie – and a Cowboy Boot Keychain with the purchase of an Extra Value Meal.
All Dressed Up will run on TV, OLV, social, digital, the McDonald’s app, radio, digital out-of-home, and out-of-home wild postings resembling tour posters spread out throughout Toronto.
