Old Spice’s Mom’s Song is back and this time Wieden+Kennedy Portland is talking (singing) to the mums of adolescent sons. The mums have become a girl band in the Boyz II Men style. They’ve even borrowed one of the band’s ‘90s songs, End of the Road, with a few twists on the classic lyrics such as, “Why do you play with my heart? Why do you spray that Old Spice?”
The new commercial, The End of Adolescents, was directed by Arts & Sciences director, Mike Warzin, and promotes the brand’s new Swagger range – a hilarious range name for adolescents, probably a magnet for teens.
The End of Adolescents is supported by cutdowns running across linear, streaming, digital and social platforms.
