Wieden+Kennedy Portland president, Jason White, is ending his second stint at the agency’s headquarters after two years. White returned to Wieden+Kennedy in October 2023 as president following the death of Dan Wieden.
Early in his career, White spent over eight years with Wieden+Kennedy as a director for Nike account, as well as serving as the managing director at the Shanghai office. He left Wieden + Kennedy to join Apple and Beats by Dr. Dre, ultimately as global head of marketing. Following that, he was CMO of cannabis company, Curaleaf, then CMO of MTV Entertainment and Fanatics Betting and Gambling before rejoining Wieden + Kennedy. He began his career in account management at BBDO and Saatchi & Saatchi in New York.
He is a board member for the diversity focused creative boot camp, Marcus Graham Project, and Dan Wieden’s Caldera Arts camp, a member of the AAF Hall of Achievement, Forbes CMO Next List, Ebony Top 100 and a 9 times Cannes Lion Award recipient for Beats By Dr. Dre’s Straight Outta campaign.
