As children, the idea of being good is hammered into our heads. As adults, we want to be good, but we don’t always achieve that. Karma Cola, the brand of Fairtrade and organic fizzy drinks that helps farmers in Sierra Leone, is helping bad adults address the balance with an inventive campaign that presents its drinks as the counterweight to falling short of our good intentions.
The counterweight to very human missteps like farting during yoga class, procrastinating (forever) about that morning run…and most humorously, taking a long-haul flight to protest about climate change.
Each of the poster campaign’s stories is presented as a comic strip. Agency, Wonderhood Studios, must get maximum kudos for making Karma Cola stand out in the crowd. It’s the first work for Karma Cola by the agency begun by ex-Channel 4 chief executive officer, David Abraham.
