And yes, you are not alone in thinking two doughnuts do look like a piece of human anatomy. And yes, that is only enhanced by the curious term, slugging, in the caption, “That glazed glow that only slugging can create. All you need is Vaseline Healing Jelly.”
Vaseline can hardly blame people, and it seems by the comments many, many people, for going straight
to the sexual connotation – of which Vaseline appears to have been oblivious.
As confusion and comments began to mount, Vaseline pitched in to explain, “Slugging refers to the application of a thin layer of an occlusive agent, such as their Original Healing Jelly, as the final step of an evening skincare routine.”
Yes, for skincare enthusiasts, slugging is a term that is beginning to trend.
???? Y’all, we were talking about skincare. Thanks for making this weird.

But, fair to say, slugging as a beauty treatment is still locked inside the realm of the skin cognoscenti. For we mere mortals, two doughnuts took our brains somewhere else.
And Vaseline jumped into the minds of a large group of people who had forgotten the old school skin product exists.
