Y&R Melbourne junior creatives, Janice Ko and Jack Harrison have won one of the two Gold awards handed out in the LIA Gorilla Doctors brief.
The Grand LIA went to Sadie Mayes, art director at VCCP London, for Gorilla Issue Tissues.
Ko and Harrison’s entry was Gorilla Health Plan, a collaboration between the Gorilla Doctors and the world’s leading health insurers. The plan allows people to donate to the Gorilla Doctors every time they pay their insurance fees by adding an endangered gorilla to the family’s health insurance plan.
“We’re pretty thrilled with the result and the recognition, especially considering the tough competition. This brief success should silence our imposter syndromes for about two days,” the pair commented.

The second Gold winners were Annie Kimber, copywriter, and Caitlin Biller, art director, at Langland Advertising in the UK. Their entry was Donate Your Difference to Make One.
