Comedian, Celeste Barber is an Australian jewel and Instagram dazzler, now adding all of her sparkle to the first international campaign for buy now and pay later payment provider, Klarna.
In the social media mini-series, I wish I’d bought it with Klarna, by 72andSunny Amsterdam, Barber stars as the queen of shopping in a humorously florid lifestyle show featuring disaster products and the hapless customers who bought them.
One woman accidentally buys a see-through wedding dress, another a collection of pocket-sized garden furniture and a third a home hair curler cap that removed all of her hair.
The videos are running across Instagram and YouTube, supported by 15-second product feature spots, also presented by Barber, in conjunction with a partnership with Refinery29.
On Instagram, a series of quirky GIFS will be delivered to Barber’s 6+ million followers to round out the campaign.
The campaign was directed by Australian, Alyssa McClelland, through Anonymous Content.
This the second campaign to be built around Barber’s flair for quirky comedy. In July 2018, she helped whiteGREY to reimagine how a cruise company campaign could entice holiday-makers.
