Did you love the 1999 comedy movie, Office Space? Have you had days in which taking a baseball bat to your office would fill your heart with joy? If you answered yes to either of these questions (and the second one is a certainty), Adobe has the commercial for you.
In I Love you, Adobe, comedian and actor, Hasan Minhaj leads an office rebellion of paperwork fuelled by the 30th anniversary of the PDF.
Yes, the film is cheesy. No, it doesn’t reach the heights of Apple’s office films. It’s far less polished. But it’s fun and the Mama Cass soundtrack, Make Your Own Kind of Music, adds to that.
In fact, its side-kick film, Fresh Scallops, is tighter and perhaps funnier, if quieter.
Both spots were created in-house to promote Adobe Acrobat, directed by Ladybug director, Josh Soskin, and part of Adobe’s, Acrobat’s Got It campaign.
They are running on Adobe’s website and social channels (Minhaj’s included), and across linear during MLB games and PGA tournaments.
