Once upon a time, advertising media options were very standard. Now they’re not. But no one has yet come up with a media idea as wild or as clever as this one by Brazil ad agency, Africa. Africa’s launch ad for Heinz’s caramelized onion & bacon ketchup is published in the medium that bacon lovers love the most – bacon.
The ad’s copy, Heinz Bacon’s arrived, was marked with an exclusive iron bar at high temperature and was entirely edible. The ad also took advantage of International Bacon Day, celebrated earlier this month, and was distributed in food trucks as well as being included in the burgers sold by partner burger shops.
