Two wins in two weeks, that’s quite a feat even for The Monkeys. Following its appointment as creative agency for Tourism WA locally and globally last week, the agency has become lead creative agency for The Australian Grand Prix Corporation (AGPC).
The Monkeys will work with AGPC on a multi-year contract. Its first creative work will be a campaign for the 2021 Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix event to be held in Albert Park, Melbourne, in March 2021.
AGPC’s general manager of marketing, Arthur Gillion, stated, “We’re excited to be joining forces with The Monkeys, an agency which demonstrated a thorough understanding of our world-class events and valued fans.
“The Monkeys have proven they can work with us to develop powerful brand insights and creative executions that command attention from new and existing audiences. We very much look forward to bringing these ideas to life in the years ahead.”
The Monkeys chief executive officer, Paul McMillan, commented, “Both the Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix and the MotoGP are iconic major events in Australia, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to be working with the AGPC.
