About Ogilvy & Mather’s Best in Show:
To demonstrate that Philips is an organisation dedicated to improving people’s lives, Ogilvy & Mather London recruited world-renowned choirmaster, Gareth Malone, to inspire eighteen people with breathing conditions to sing again, aided by the Philips SimplyGo Mini Oxygen Concentrator. Malone created a custom arrangement of The Police’s Every Breath You Take and coached the singers through their difficulties to perform at the Apollo Theatre in New York City.
Ogilvy & Mather turned this into an online campaign reaching millions, followed by additional content emphasizing Philips’ innovation and healthcare expertise to healthcare professionals, medical decision makers and the public.
Lee Williams, convenor of judges and executive creative director at Sudler & Hennessey London, commented “Judging the Best of Health Show provides a fascinating insight into the breadth and depth of creativity in healthcare – a category often derided for its lack of creativity.”
