In 2012, Aldi’s Surfin’ Santas reminded Australia that our Christmas fun is unique. Aldi’s Santas have hit the water again, this time to remind is that we can Christmas like it’s 2019 (before Covid put a dampener on everything) because Aldi’s Christmas range is affordable.
BMF’s fun-filled Synchronised Santa Christmas rap ad is really good and very different:
BMF creative directors, Dantie van der Merwe & David Fraser, explained, “The world seemed in need of a ridiculous escape, so it felt like a good time to reveal Santa’s hidden talents.”

The campaign has launched with brand films running on TV and longer formats running online, supported by radio, OOH, catalogue, in store POS, website and social. The campaign will also include a series of 15-second retail spots illustrating Aldi’s great prices across its range of Christmas products.
