Aldi’s newest commercial by BMF is dreamy with a touch of Aldi humour. Both of these moods come from Sweetshop director, Nick Kelly, and his flair for the offbeat in ads. Kelly also injected the humour into Kim Kardashian’s trying to say noice for Uber Eats, and Jack Murray’s brush with a painful future as Callum Murray for Dare Iced Coffee.
The stars of Aldi’s Everyday Low Prices commercial glide along Aldi’s aisles like ice skaters to a tune that evokes the luscious laziness of tropical island life. They highlight how Aldi shoppers can save without any effort – no pausing for price checks, no promotion rules to follow, no need to second guess if certain products will be cheaper next week. Aldi’s low prices are permanent.
Mark Richardson, marketing director, Aldi Australia, commented, “Our Everyday Low Prices campaign aims to remind shoppers that they can save at Aldi. Most shoppers are aware that our prices are low, however, this campaign set out to remind customers that they can trust our everyday low pricing model to get the best value on their groceries each time they shop. We want to generate confidence in our low prices and remind shoppers that they don’t have to go to arduous efforts to budget or find the best savings.”
