adam&eveDDB has hired Brynna Aylward as chief creative officer of its New York and San Francisco offices, sixteen months after the merger of DDB New York and adam&eveNYC.
She joins from GUT Toronto, where she was executive creative director and creative lead. Aylward will be responsible for overseeing the creative direction of adam&eveDDB New York and West, working closely with clients such as Kroger, Nathan’s, Eckrich, JetBlue, Disney, Pure Leaf, Lipton, and Gatorade Hydration. She will report directly to adam&eveDDB US CEO, Caroline Winterton, and partner with adam&eveDDB global chief creative officer, Richard Brim, to ensure collaboration and alignment across the agency’s network.
At GUT, she successfully led the growth of GUT’s Miami office and launch of its first Canadian office, building a creatively driven team of over 60, and working across major brands such as Tim Hortons, GoodLife, Mitsubishi, Mike’s Hard Lemonade, Gund, Microsoft, and KY, building an impressive portfolio that includes award-winning campaigns for global brands.
Aylward believes creative leadership is a craft like art direction or copywriting. Throughout the course of her career, she has been recognised for her outstanding contributions to the industry, receiving numerous international awards and being ranked as one of the top creative leaders in the US. Most recently, she was named among Creativepool’s list of Top 100 Creative Leaders for 2024.
