Burger King’s relentless needling of McDonald’s is famous – and a lot of fun. But life has become serious in Europe as a second wave of Covid causes despair. The food industry was only just beginning to recover and as Burger King notes, “restaurants employing thousands of staff really need your support at the moment”.
Burger King France and UK have declared a truce with McDonald’s and shown the chain can also be hugely magnanimous.
In a campaign by Buzzman France, Burger King is encouraging fans to order from McDonald’s.
