With its 1,423 entries from 49 countries, the new Lions Health have made themselves the world’s most important creative awards in their first year.
Entries have been accepted into two sections:
Pharma, which is divided into Pharma Communications to Healthcare Professionals and Pharma Communications to Non-Healthcare Professionals categories.
The Pharma category received 517 entries from 35 countries
Health & Wellness, covering the categories of Health & Wellness Consumer Products and Health & Wellness Education and Services.
Health and Wellness received 906 pieces of work from 48 countries
Work has been submitted across seven different media channels: Broadcast, Print, Outdoor, Direct and Promo & Activation, PR, Digital and Mobile and Integrated.
Judging begins in Cannes next week, by 25 industry professionals in two juries.
Kathy Delaney, global chief creative officer of Saatchi & Saatchi Wellness, will lead the Health & Wellness jury.
Jeremy Perrott, global chief creative officer of McCann Health will lead the Pharma jury.
If you’re going to Cannes Health June 13 – 14, you will be able to view exhibitions of the shortlisted work across the two day Festival. The winners will only be revealed at the Awards Ceremony on Saturday 14 June.
