The Big Yellow Self Storage Company UK wanted people to know that it doesn’t just offer large storage space, but also has small rooms that measure one metre square.
Mission accomplished by CHI & Partners. It doesn’t matter how short attention spans are these days, no one is going to miss The Big Yellow Self Storage Company’s name or promise.
The series of outdoor (static and digital) executions features large mammals crammed into small cube shapes.
The work was created by Danny Hunt and Gavin Torrance at CHI. “Our aim was to create a campaign that disrupts the market and challenges the status quo in the self-storage category. We wanted to find a way of representing small spaces in an interesting and entertaining way.”
The illustrations are by RM2 (the rhinoceros and giraffe) and Début Art’s Matt Dartford (the sumo wrestler).
