Iain Tait, is executive creative director at Google Chrome Labs. He’s the tech-heads’ tech-head. But he’s no emotionless nerd. He cried during last year’s Black Pencil judging.
When Tait was asked to choose his “I Wish I’d Done That,” he nominated Philips Hue and it’s connection with IFTTT.
IFTTT? Gosh, un-early uptakers. It was launched in 2010. If This Then That https://ifttt.com/ is a facility that lets you join different web applications together. Philips Hue is wireless LED lighting. When you add IFTTT, you can create programs (recipes) that make different coloured lights in your home turn on automatically – triggered by what’s happening on your devices.

So what? Watch what happened when another tech-head took Philips Hue and IFTTT one step further…
