DAVID New York has made seven new hires. The new creatives will report to Daniel Lobatón, North America chief creative officer, and André Toledo, chief creative officer.
The group includes the creative director duo, Erin Evon and Jason Burke. The duo has been named to the Adweek Creative 100 list and has worked on campaigns for Goldfish, Snyder’s of Hanover, Tide, Shopify, Samsung and Uber Eats. They’ve been working together for seven years in New York agencies such as RGA and Saatchi & Saatchi, where Evon was one of the creatives behind It’s a Tide Ad, the famous P&G Super Bowl takeover that was awarded a Film Grand Prix, Titanium Cannes Lion, Grand Effie and Gold Creative Effectiveness Lion.
Three associate creative directors Kelsey Miller, Tori Mortenson and Maria DiTullio, are also joining. Miller and Mortenson were most recently at Mekanism working for Jose Cuervo and Quaker Oats. DiTullio joins as an ACD writer. Most recently, she was an associate creative director at Deutsch LA, where she worked on Taco Bell. Before Deutsch LA, DiTullio worked at Crispin Porter+Bogusky on Domino’s and RPA on Apartments.com.
The final two hires are Adam Goffstein, a senior copywriter, previously at The Martin Agency and MullenLowe Boston, who worked for brands like Buffalo Wild Wings and Busch Light. Victoria Rocha, a senior art director, who worked on a variety of award-winning campaigns such as Dreamcaster from Michelob Ultra, and Spreadbeats by Spotify. She was recognised as the top art director in the industry by Cannes Lions, D&AD and the One Show.
The new team members will join the existing New York team in their newly opened office space in the Domino Sugar Factory in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
Daniel Lobatón commented, “Talent is at the core of who DAVID is. We are a first name agency so everyone who joins is here to help us keep building our next chapter. This team is the perfect complement to the talent that we currently have helping us push the potential of what we can do from our New York office to help our clients solve their business problems with outstanding creativity.”
André Toledo added, “These new hires mark a significant step in our journey to build DAVID New York into a creative powerhouse. With this team, we’re poised to grow and to further establish our reputation as leaders in game and entertainment creativity, where we’ve seen incredible recognition and success.”
