Hate being peppered with annoying work buzzwords? Aussies no longer have to hate them. They can use them to win work-cleaning experiences. Lipton Ice Tea has teamed up with DDB Group Sydney to create Jargon Junket, a campaign that turns frustration into freedom.
A specially designed jargon scanner allows buzzword-haters to track the cringe-worthy phrases they encounter in the office, collect from more than 130 of the most annoying office phrases like “ping me” or “circle back” and trade them in for the chance to win one of five extraordinary experiences. Each buzzword collected brings them closer to winning a life-changing getaway to locations that free overload-jargoned hearts and heads.
The campaign’s fun spirit is introduced with a quirky film, directed by Good Oil’s Madeleine Purdy, featuring the Jargon Junketeer, a travel agent who helps participants embark on these tongue-in-cheek adventures.
The campaign is running on social platforms and BVOD.
