Once upon a time there was a strict formula for discount events for car brands – and it wasn’t pretty. But VW is known for its wit and DDB Paris has built that asset into its tactical campaign promoting special offers during dealerships’ March open-door weekend.
Rather than shout price promotion, the campaign focuses on the brand with the new tagline, It’s so easy to be proud of a Volkswagen. The two films in the campaign films embody the humorous tone of voice that has made Volkswagen ads popular.
