DDB Sydney is expanding its creative team with six new hires following a period of growth for the agency.
Katyana O’Neill joins DDB as senior art director, partnering with Emma Leamore, senior copywriter. The duo was most recently at The Monkeys, where they worked on blue-chip brands, including Qantas and Berlei.
DDB has also hired young art director, Kate Davies, from CHE Proximity and The Glue Society and copywriter, Lauren Seaborn, who has worked at CHE Proximity as well as freelance in Australia and VCCP in the UK.
DDB has also boosted its social department, adding Ryan Greves and Madelene McGuinness as a junior social team.
DDB Sydney chief creative officer, Tara Ford, stated, “We are thrilled to have these amazing humans joining us. What they bring in talent and energy will add brilliantly to the momentum of the agency.”
The creative hires follow a record-breaking year for new business at DDB Sydney with the agency adding McDonald’s Social, Johnson & Johnson, Netflix and LinkedIn to its client list.
