Visit Abu Dhabi’s new campaign grabs your attention as a high-action Hollywood blockbuster drama, with Chris Hemsworth and real-life wife, Elsa Pataky. But unlike Mother’s high-action Hollywood blockbuster drama for Dubai Tourism in 2021, it becomes something else after a few seconds. At a climactic moment, the Hemsworths break through the fourth wall and become a relatable couple in need of a vacation.

They then become attention magnets for a classic tourist ad montage of the real adventures Abu Dhabi offers visitors and their offspring. Of course, it is only a dream unless you book it.

Find Your Pace with Chris & Elsa’s larrikin humour combines with director, Justin McMillan’s panache to make a fun-filled, fast-paced spot with Hollywood Blockbuster-style VFX by Heckler, including the imposing CGI particle monster. Heckler also worked on a director’s cut of the advert, with an original music track scored by Heckler Sound. The commercial was produced by local production company, Dejavu.
