Christmas stories can be saccharine-sweet, but that tear-inducing, heartwarming effect is part of the Christmas tradition and maybe what makes Christmas important. Life can be harsh; people can be horrible. Christmas is a reset.
This very sweet Christmas story comes from Dentsu Creative US and dentsu X, for Crayola. It follows a little girl called Zoe, who notices that everything at Christmas is red and green, two colours her dog, Pickle, can’t see (side note: most colour-blind people can’t see those two colours either).

So she changes her family’s Christmas decorations to blue. Sibling Rivalry director, Ashkan Memarian, enhances the story’s feel-good factor. Crayola and the family’s creativity convey the film’s message. It closes with the line, “It’s not what you give; it’s what you create.” (Note, the double meaning.)
The Christmas film aligns with Crayola’s wider Campaign for Creativity platform, meant to “foster creativity and inspire creative moments in the world”.
