Caroline Pay and Theo Izzard-brown are leaving Dentsu Creative UK. They will both depart at the end of the week. The exit seems to be part of a culling of the agency under CEO, Jessica Temsedge, who joined in June last year. Dentsu Creative UK has undergone several shiftings at the top since it was formed in June 2022 by merging DentsuMB, 360i and Isobar. Dentsu Creative UK president, Gareth Collins, and chief creative officer, Simon Lloyd, stepped down in September.
Both Pay and Izzard-Brown joined Dentsu Creative UK in May last year. Pay had been an advisor at various organisations after leaving Headspace a year before. Before headspace she had been CCO at Grey London, deputy ECD and managing partner at BBH London, and a creative director at Mother and Karmarama. Izzard-Brown joined from McCann after an eight-year stint.
Global client ECDs, Tom Smith and Darren Urquhart will take on lead creative duties until a new CCO is found.
