Endorsement campaign meets recycled commercial. With the AFL football grand final just two weeks away, the new Disney+ campaign for Australia leads with a remake of I’d Like to See That a famous AFL campaign created and directed by Warren Brown at (then) creative hot shop, The Campaign Palace, in 1994.
In the new commercial, I’d Like to Stream That, some of Australia’s most recognisable names in sport – Andrew Gaze (Australian Basketball Hall Of Famer), Rob Whittaker (Former UFC Middleweight Champion), Jack Ginnivan (AFL Premiership Player), Lydia Williams (Matildas Legend), Steven Bradbury (Gold Medallist), Tayla Harris (AFLW Icon) and Christian Petracca (AFL Norm Smith Medallist) – pinpoint the shows they’d like to watch – highlighting the wide range of content on Disney+ in the process. Features content includes global hit series, FX’s The Bear, Only Murders In The Building and Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour (Taylor’s Version); FX’s Shōgun; and locally produced series, The Artful Dodger.
I’d Like to Stream That was developed in-house by The Walt Disney Company Australia marketing, creative and production teams and is running across broadcast, BVOD, YouTube, OOH, display and socials.
