Soap made with Sydney Sweeney’s actual bath water? Yes, it’s disgusting. And yes, the product is real. And the fact that men seem to love it is revolting. Social media comments and response to a giveaway contest of 100 free briccs (this is what Sweeney calls soap), suggest that men really are revolting or they appreciate gross humour.
The new collab was teased in a Dr. Squatch post with, “Wanna take a shower with Sydney Sweeney?”
The soap has “refreshing notes of pine, Douglas fir and earthy moss,” and Dr.Squatch has named that scent “morning wood”. Subtle? It adds that the White Lotus star’s bathwater is “one of nature’s finest aphrodisiacs”.
Included with Sweeney’s bath water are saponified oils (of olive, sustainable palm and coconut), shea butter, natural fragrance, Sydney’s bath water, sand, mica, kaolin clay and sea salt, and the soap goes on sale in the US on June 6 for US$8.
The brand clearly knows what it is doing. This is the third collab with Sweeney, one with a commercial that attracted many complaints.
This collab follows one in November last year with fellow provocateur brand, Liquid Death:
