Apparently, Drake is a Nike ambassador, or at the very least an ardent fan. Both are suggested, with no subtlety at all, in his new music video, Laugh Now Cry Later. The video doesn’t just drop hints that Drake is associated with Nike, it shouts Nike throughout.
And in case Drake isn’t the be-all to end-all of drawcards for the brand, the video also features Nike-sponsored sports stars, basketballer, Kevin Durant and NFL stars, Odell Beckham Jr and Marshawn Lynch.
Drake has previously been an ambassador for Nike’s Jordan brand (2013) and he had a flirtation with adidas in 2018 that eventuated in a formal deal.
