…Otherwise put, Havas triumphs over the one discipline wonders.
Havas has just won Goodman Fielder, gaining all creative and media strategy duties. Goodman Fielder is the parent of grocery brands, Praise, Meadow Lea, Olive Grove and White Wings, among others. Havas has just had a huge win.
The win came after a competitive pitch. Billings are undisclosed, but media spend will significantly increase in 2014/15 compared to the previous two years. Goodman Fielder is committed to re-investing into its grocery brands. Creative agency, Joy, remains agency of record for Fielders bakery goods.
This win is another for the Havas Village concept that reunites all the bits that make a full service agency. Havas Village re-integrates creative, media, digital and PR teams under one roof. Now doesn’t that make sense.
Mike Wilson, chief executive officer of Havas Media agreed, “The Goodman Fielder win is another indication that clients are excited by the integration of creative and media. Lots of people are talking about it, we’re actually doing it.”
John Chatterton, marketing director at Goodman Fielder said, “We are looking forward to working with the Havas group who have demonstrated great team spirit in their through-the-line approach to creative content development and strategic targeting to drive our brands forward.”
“We are delighted to be working with Goodman Fielder. They are an innovative company working in an extremely competitive sector. We look forward to bringing the benefits of the Havas Village strategy to help them win in the supermarket aisles,” added Anthony Gregorio, chief executive officer of Havas Worldwide Australia.
