The cult series, The X-Files, is back and FOX Creative is making sure that people in Portugal reconnect to its outer space mysteries.

The agency and creative lab, Jack The Maker, have sent out a challenge to The X-Files audience, to get in touch – with aliens.

From January 10 to 13, fans who, just like agent Mulder believe that “the truth is out there”, were invited to send laser-written messages to outer space inviting aliens to visit the country.

The Portuguese audience was able to send personal laser messages in a live experience that occupied the facade of an entire building in the heart of Lisbon. The stunt was supported by a website where fans from all over the country could create their own messages and see them projected in laser on site, during the activation.
