The Sydney Design Awards are only three years old. And Frost* collective has won Best Design Studio for two of them.
Vince Frost, executive creative director and chief executive officer of Frost* collective stated, “Being named Best Design Studio two years in a row is very exciting for us. It’s reassuring to be recognised as consistently remaining at the top of ourgame. We constantly aspire to settling for nothing less than excellence on any project, large or small and this win is another sign that we’re achieving that”.
This year Frost* also won:
Advertising – Outdoor, Retail, POS – for I’m On – Ending HIV extension campaign for ACON
Graphic Design – Environmental – for Mascot campus signage for Qantas
Graphic Design – Illustration and Type – for cycling education posters for the City of Sydney
The Sydney Design Awards, organised by Design100, applaud the design industry’s many sectors, from graphic design and advertising to architecture, product and fashion design.
Its awards are given to those who produce excellence in design, and those who sponsor, fund or commission excellent design projects. It aims to represent the diversity and culture of design in Sydney, so entries are put through a rigorous judging process to reach shortlist and award status. The judging panel includes members of the design industry and design marketplace. Members of the public are given the opportunity rate entries also.
