Tatts has been around since 1881 when publican, George Adams, gave his business a lift by organising a “bit of fun” sweep on the Sydney Cup.
Tatts manages some big money lotteries but Tatts Instant Scratch-Its are meant to be fun. They’re seize the moment, give it a go, try your luck gambles anyone with can enjoy with their spare change.
Which is exactly what GPY&R Brisbane is selling.
Tatts Instant Scratch-Its is back in Victoria and its new campaign by GPY&R Brisbane is themed, Let the fun begin. It’s not about the win, it’s about the experience. It’s not at all serious – it’s eye-catching, crowd pleasing and zany.
The spearhead of the campaign is TVC directed by Grant Marshall from Blacklab Films.
GPY&R Brisbane creative director Brendan Greaney, commented, “We wanted to create a launch platform that felt big, and just a little bit silly. Let the fun begin is both of these.”
Instant Scratch-Its senior brand portfolio manager, Nicola Duhig, added “Our launch campaign had to be surprising, fun, unexpected and bold. Great work by all involved!”
The campaign is supported by radio, digital and point of sale.
