Gut, which is owned by Globant, has opened an office in New York, its ninth office in seven countries throughout the world. It has been a meteor ride for the agency co-founded in 2018 by by Gastón Bigio and Anselmo Ramos.
Gut Buenos Aires was the A-List International Agency 2024, the first time for an Argentine agency. GUT was also named #2 Most Innovative Agency by Fast Company 2024 in Advertising & Marketing. In 2023, it was Adweek’s breakthrough Agency of the Year and Gut Buenos Agency was Adweek’s International Agency of the Year. That year, the agency won three Grands Prix in Public Relations, Mobile and Creative Use of Data for Door Dash, PedidosYa and Stella Artois at Cannes Lions.
The New York office will be led by managing director, Gus Marmarinos, who joins the agency after two decades at Saatchi & Saatchi, and chief creative officer, Lucas Bongioanni, formerly executive creative director of The Community. They will report to Gut US chief executive officer, Sandra Alfaro. It is the agency’s third office in the US, joining the Miami and Los Angeles offices. Gut also opened an office in Madrid earlier this year. Other offices include Buenos Aires, Sao Paulo, Toronto, Amsterdam and Mexico City.
Its founding clients include AB InBev, Procter & Gamble and Kraft Heinz and its creative team at launch includes creative directors, Ryan McCarthy and Brian Mekjian; associate creative directors, Clarissa Dale and Willow Ennen; and content creator, Jack Underwood.
Gut became part of Globant in June, combining the mar-tech services of the parent company with the creative offerings of Gut.
