Getting a message that wasn’t meant for you, or that arrives at exactly the wrong moment is a nuisance when it happens to you. When it happens to someone else, it’s hilariously entertaining. French independent creative agency, joga, has turned those facts of life into an unignorable B2B campaign for email & SMS marketing, CRM & automation platform, Brevo.
Four comedy spots stage situations everyone has lived through – an ad for a trendy haircut sent to a bald man, a Spring Break invitation sent to a grandmother, a notification that interrupts a workout, and another that interrupts a moment of…intimacy.
The campaign ignores all the outdated B2B and SaaS advertising “musts” – dashboard screenshots, client testimonials with numbers, spelled-out functional benefits and a prominent call-to-action button. There’s no jargon, no product demo, not a single feature named. Each film is built around an everyday micro-moment and a shared feeling rather than a marketing persona, and all close on the same sign-off, “Brevo. The right message, to the right person, at the right time.”
It also serves a dual purpose. In France, Brevo’s home market, it aims to strengthen the brand’s positioning and awareness. In the United States and Germany, two priority growth markets, it is designed to accelerate expansion.
“Today, when you look for a tool, you increasingly ask an AI assistant, and what you get back is a feature comparison. We chose to make people feel rather than demonstrate, starting from something everyone has experienced: a message that completely misses the mark. It’s the one mistake a brand building trust can’t afford to make, and it’s exactly what Brevo helps its customers avoid,” stated Rémi Grousset, global brand, communications & creative director, Brevo.

“We set out to show the industry at its worst, to tell the story of Brevo at its best. Everyone gets badly targeted notifications, every day, which means there are plenty more stories to tell, “ added Antoine Defaye, creative director and co-founder, joga.
The campaign’s four 20-second spots run from October 6, primarily on YouTube, with additional placements on Meta and TikTok.
