Music videos are often metaphorical, rarely relatable. Director, Kevork Aslanyan’s, music video for Flòralyn is both. If you’ve ever felt intense frustration (if you make advertising, you just said, hell yeah), you will feel this video, Aslanyan’s signature style may be comedy, but he shows he has more than what’s in that box.
He also yearns to delve into dramatic, melancholic narratives that tug at heartstrings, unravel relationships, and lay bare the darker facets of human nature. Flòralyn’s moody song, about the aftermath of a fight with her lover, gave him the opportunity to do that – and to show off his ability to elicit powerful performances at the same time.

Flòralyn and Aslanyan share Bulgarian heritage. The singer-songwriter, harpist, and music producer has now taken her distinctive musical style to London.
“These opportunities don’t come by often, as anyone in the industry would agree, and are a true gem in every sense of the word. It all started when I was on the hunt for some dope music to make a video for. Why, you ask? Because I just love doing that! I love my job,” Aslanyan commented.
“That’s when the incredibly talented Flòralyn hit me up with a track that needed a video. And that’s how I ended up in my comfort zone – passion projects. And yeah, I’m talking about those no-budget, less-stress, pure-art-form jobs. We all love those, right?”
