You can tell people (forever) that your fast food is made with fresh ingredients. But show them in a weird and wonderful way and it will sink in.
kids the agency and Chipotle have recorded a music track in the famous Abbey Road Studios using produce found in its restaurants, and turned that into a campaign called From Ground to Sound.

The partners recruited the London Vegetable Orchestra to perform the track, its music created entirely from corn flutes, pepper trumpets, lettuce percussion and an onion bass, transformed into instruments capable of producing the right notes, tones and textures.

The musicians spent three months experimenting with the instruments. Fresh produce continuously changes in shape, texture and moisture, so the instruments had to be built and played at peak ripeness, remaining usable for less than a day. That gave the musicians only a brief window to assemble, tune, rehearse and record before the sound began to change. Added to this was the challenge that no two vegetables ever behave exactly the same way. Even when carved into identical instruments, they can respond very differently.

The song, composed by Beacon Street Studios and was first teased in Chipotle’s 100 Creators campaign in August. It will now be used as a sonic signature in future campaigns.
The full track is available on Spotify and Apple Music.
