UK families are preparing for the Jubilee celebrations. McDonald’s would never be left out of that. It’s the official partner of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Pageant. With its agency partners, Ready 10 and Leo Burnett, it has joined in the Jubilee celebrations giving its I’m Lovin’ It jingle a royal makeover, adding a royal flourish to its menu and giving consumers a taste of what it feels like to dine like a royal during the bank holiday weekend.
The reinvented jingle, One’s Lovin’ It, has been recorded by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra to commemorate the Queen’s 70th year on the throne.
Included too, The McDonald’s Quarter Pounder with Cheese has been renamed the Royale with Cheese, and Brits can enter a competition to win the Big Mac, fries and milkshake packaging made out of elegant china. 70 of the limited-edition sets are up for grabs via the McDonald’s app. The winners will be crowned on June 8.
