The global competition by LIA’s Creative LIAisons and Gorilla Doctors is nearing its deadline. The competition is open to all creatives between the ages of 21 – 30 years and is free to enter.
The challenge is to produce a creative piece of work to help promote the work of the Gorilla Doctors. The entry deadline is August 15.
Everything you need to know is in the launch story:
LIA and Gorilla Doctors offer young creatives the chance to have their idea produced
The winner (individual or team) will be awarded an Ecotour donated by Terra Incognito Ecotours for a once-in-a-lifetime trip to visit Rwanda, home to the critically endangered Mountain Gorillas and will be invited to participate at LIA 2019 in Las Vegas. The prize will be awarded to a maximum of two people.
“We already have entries coming in. Remarkable ideas that will help build brand awareness for this very important yet low-key organization. At the end of the competition, we will choose one winner and produce it with credit given to the winning team,” stated Barbara Levy, president of LIA. “It’s not just about saving a species. It’s about saving mankind.”
“A higher profile will hopefully translate into greater funding to help the existing African veterinarians do their jobs and to train future African veterinarians in wildlife help with the One Health approach to human medicine and wildlife conservation as they are linked,” added Dr Mike Cranfield, Africa Director of Gorilla Doctors.
All entries received will be judged on site during the London International Awards judging and Creative LIAisons program in Las Vegas on October 6.
