Daniel Fisher (above left), global executive creative director for Unilever and special projects at Ogilvy, will lead the TV/Cinema & Online Film jury as president. He has produced famous advertising for some of the world’s best-known brands such as John Lewis, Virgin Atlantic, The Sunday Times, Netflix, Harvey Nichols and Dove.
The multi-disciplinary thinker has conceived retail concepts, designed mobile phone operating systems, curated major art exhibitions and designed an award-winning fashion boutique.
He stated, “We may live in a fragmented media landscape, but for many of us, film was our first love, so I’m incredibly honoured to take on the role of president of the TV/Cinema and Online Film jury at this year’s LIAs. I can’t wait to meet the rest of the jury, to look at the best films the industry has to offer and to discuss and debate with them what should win.”
Barbara Levy, president of LIA stated, “We are honoured to have Daniel preside over the TV/Cinema and Online Film jury. His passionate belief in the power of creativity makes him the perfect choice to guide this jury in awarding the most outstanding work.”
Charlotte Lepot (above right), executive producer at Division, has been chosen to be jury president of the Music Video and Production & Post-Production categories. She started her career at Partizan, as head of music videos. Since that debut, she has earned her stripes by working on unforgettable music videos and continuing to innovate and evolve both herself and the industry, with the films she produces. Both fresh young directors and acclaimed household names have their visions in Lepot’s hands.
She commented, “Discovering, discussing, commenting, sharing, learning and arguing about music videos is really my passion. I’m always curious to see what’s next and get inspired by the greatest films from all around the world. It’s a big responsibility and a huge honor to stand as the Jury President of the Music Video and Production & Post-Production categories this year. I’m thoroughly looking forward to the enlightened and passionate discussions we’re going to have about this year’s films.”
Barbara Levy, president of LIA, added, “This is the first time that Charlotte is judging LIA. Selecting her to preside over the Production & Post Production and Music Video jury was an easy decision for us. Her diverse experience producing music videos, films and commercials makes her the perfect choice to guide this jury in awarding the best executions in these craft categories.”
